I have 2 of the these cams. I need to cover the sides of the car as well as the front/interior. The box configuration allows for a smaller, lighter camera on the glass. Also, pulling the SD card is simpler. I would suggest to Blackvue to make the voice prompts more intelligible. The tiny speaker sounds muffled.
Great peace of kit , very simple to install . Hardware is not intrusive and the box is easy to hide .

This isn’t anything saying anything bad about Blackboxmycar it's that Blackvue US/CA is selling a stripped down this system, This kit is missing the SOS button/ manual recording previously available and last year's kit and available in system listed on the Korea website! This is a necessary function and is available on almost all camera systems.
